Taylormade asp how does it work

And we've all been hearing how much our games can be improved by the company's adjustable drivers. So, when the TayorMade R11 driver came out in February , I decided to see if the hype is justified. There are three major differences between the TaylorMade R11 driver and the company's earlier R9 model. The most obvious change is the R11's black face and satin white, non-glare crown. TaylorMade says the white paint job is intended to make the club head look larger, make alignment easier and inspire confidence at address.

Some people hate it, but others adjust to it after some initial distraction. Some think the white color is a marketing ploy to make TaylorMade's clubs look more distinctive. It didn't make me feel more confident, so I'm wondering why TaylorMade would risk alienating golfers for such a seemingly useless change.

The TaylorMade R11 driver has a cc club head instead of the larger cc head of the R9 and other drivers from the last few years. It's complicated to explain, so please bear with me. The sound and feel at impact are very good and with all the adjustment options you will find a setting that will improve your drives with the help of an experienced hitter.

If you have an R9, you may not see a lot of performance benefit in changing to the R11 unless you prefer white, but for everyone else this is a must try premium driver if you can afford it.

Father In law gave me his old R11 last week on 4th of July. Got to try it for the first time today and I must say this driver is perfect if you have A LOT of torque and power on your down swing. Before using the R11, my drives would slice so much ruining my game because I would have some difficult time recovering.

Now with this R11 I can swing as hard as I possibly can and the ball will just tower and go dead straight almost every time. Love the R11!

Mine is more a question than a review, as I had only 1 hit with the R Are there any distinct improvements in distance from the R9? I like the look of the driver, but am not sure if it is worth the investment over the R9, which I hit quite well but not as far as my R7 quad, which sadly I gave away to a friend during the honeymoon period with my new R9. I was also wondering about Andy 16 handicap and off the tee, surely with that length you should have a lower handicap?

Just interested to hear as I have a similar problem at 15 handicap, although is more like the reality for me. Great reviews, thanks. Golfalot Says: As our review says, there is not much performance benefit with the R11 over the R9. After hearing all the reviews and opinions on the R11, I finally had a chance to hit it on the range.

The stool is going to tilt to the short leg and you will lean in that direction. Rotate the stool and the direction you lean to changes. That sole plate does the same thing. That wrench you have is actually a torque wrench and the click is the wrench releasing its internal grip on the torx bit so you can't overtighten the screw.
