Citadel dlc how many hours

By the time we're done, we'll have touched on tons of stuff across the entire series. If you haven't played the games but still want to, this will kill a whole lot of the mystery and anticipation. This is your first and only warning! The majority of players—more than 80 percent, according to Bioware—play as ManShep. This is a shame, because Hale's work in all three games is incredible, and her performance in the first game far outshines Meer's unfortunately wooden delivery.

The series is well worth playing as both ManShep and FemShep, as often the two voice actors have different takes on the same situation. My first Mass Effect run was with the Hale-voiced female Shepard, and even though I use ManShep as my "canonical" character, FemShep still holds a special place in my heart. Hale does "menacing" far better than Meer ever manages.

For the sake of brevity, I refer to Commander Shepard as "he" throughout this piece. However, Mass Effect fans who have never experienced Hale's vocal work owe it to themselves to play one of the games as FemShep.

The Mass Effect universe is that rare thing—a fully-realized science fiction game setting that stands up to the likes of Star Trek or Star Wars.

The universe in which the games take place has a rich and complex backstory, and even better, it's not a rich and complex back story that the player has to have info-dumped into his head. Anderson "Extended Universe" novels and have a working knowledge of the seven prime forms of lightsaber combat to get the most out of the game. There's depth in the backstory, but it's not the kind of depth that ever compelled me to memorize the game's codex entries.

The first game in the Mass Effect Trilogy is also its shortest. Completing Mass Effect's story mode takes an average of Shepard's battle with Saren and the Geth sees him recruit six squadmates, some of whom could be with you for the long haul.

While it hints at the wider galaxy, it leaves exploration of it to later games. Finishing the original Mass Effect and its extra content took The DLC's omission knocks the playing time down to Mass Effect 2's story clocks in at The story finds Shepard working for the human cabal Cerberus. The story ultimately builds up to a climactic suicide mission against the alien Collectors.

It's actual story content? About 2 hours tops. Everything that you can do afterwards on the Citadel is the real meat of the DLC, and that can easily be like hours. Worth the money?

User Info: bman Agree with earlier post, the actual missions are maybe hours. However all the extra "fan service" type content is a good hours if you purposely stop for every conversation and such. Personally I loved it, even though it was totally catering to fans of the series.

I rank it higher than Shadow Broker. If you have been around since ME1, or even ME2 and imported a save, it's great.

I suppose if you are one of the few that just played ME3 then maybe not. Is there a lot of Arena missions? Can it be replayed as many time as I want? We can no longer edit our post?

I accidentally deleted my last one thinking the Edit button would be there. More topics from this board Citadel alien medi-gel help? Side Quest 4 Answers Weapon Upgrades past level 5? Side Quest 1 Answer How do you get dark channel????
